How to Get Your Energy Back

How to Get Your Energy Back

Are you tired of feeling tired? There are many reasons why you may be feeling sluggish. We offer some suggestions on why you may be feeling fatigued and how you can overcome them.

Get your hormones back in balance. Ashwagandha is an Indian plant with chemicals in it that can balance hormones that go out of whack when you are stressed and increase adrenaline. It also contains a compound that can increase the stamina in muscles. Experts recommend that you take from 200 mg. to 500 mg. per day to increase your energy, mental focus and clarity.

Clean out your colon. Constipation is a condition that 23 million Americans suffer from. This can load your digestive system with toxins and can even trigger fatigue and headaches. In order to get your colon regulated, you should drink at least eight glasses of water per day and eat at least three servings of fruit and vegetables per day.

Take a zinc supplement. If you are stressed out and feeling too exhausted to get through the day, you probably are low in zinc. Stress can deplete your body of zinc which is needed to release excess copper from your cells. Too much copper in your system can cause fatigue, brain fog and insomnia. Experts advise that you take 15 to 25 mg. of a zinc supplement daily.

Add some plants to your house. Indoor air pollution can cause fatigue because the air you breathe may be loaded with dust, mold and chemicals. This forces your heart and lungs to work harder, which makes you feel sluggish. You can remove up to 87% of indoor pollution by placing three or more houseplants in rooms where you spend a lot of time. The leaves on houseplants have a built-in filtration system that can clean the air.

Take Vitamin C. If you are even mildly allergic to common things such as foods, pets or pollen, this can cause you to feel irritable, fatigued and even depressed. Experts say that 2,000 mg. of Vitamin C daily can work similar to an antihistamine, but without the unpleasant side effects like drowsiness and dizziness.…

Candida Attack

Candida Attack

It’s an irritating situation. It can even be unbearable but face it we must. It can actually be most embarrassing as well. That’s the condition called candida.

If you are experiencing vaginal itching, thick white vaginal discharge, unpleasant smell from vaginal discharge, or penile itching for men and a burning sensation after passing urine or rash or redness on the penis or scrotum… that’s the Candida irritating some life out of you.

Other symptoms include a tongue with a white coat, memory loss for short-term, a dizzy feeling, a craving for sweets, digestion problems and irregularity of the heart beat.

Our body has about 12000 bacteria, yeast and other organisms and about a trillion of them inhabit the gastro-intestinal tract. Most of these organisms are not disease-causing. In fact they are downright useful for the body in order to supply human energy, for producing vitamins, for the metabolism of hormones and even for protecting us from infection and enhancing immune function.

Then there are the unfriendly bacteria. They only become unfriendly when they are not kept in control by the good bacteria. In fact, even the bad bacteria when they are in small numbers actually benefit us… but they have to be kept in control by the good bacteria.

But within this intestinal flora, the ecology must be balanced. If like a beautiful wooded forest, they are all cut down, then the enemies can attack and destroy.

And this is what happens when you take antibiotics. Antibiotics are taken when you are ill and have bad bacteria proliferating in the body. You take the antibiotic to kill the bad guys…. unfortunately the antibiotics are not very discerning and they kill indiscriminately… that includes the good bacteria.

So one of the organisms that seem to grow immensely once the good bacteria are out of the way is candida. Candida is also common resident of the mucous membranes in the gut, urinary tract and vagina. Candida can exist as a yeast or as a fungus.

When Candida increases in numbers, it produces alcohol (ethanol) and the chemical responsible for the main symptoms of a hangover. If you are not int he prime of health, this can cause high levels of alcohol to enter the bloodstream.

To make things worse, when the candida populations are very high, it can transform into the fungal form and penetrate the intestinal wall and this can result in the leaky gut syndrome. This is also likely to cause allergies and auto immune diseases.

There is even research to show that Candida may be linked to Celiac disease. (this is an auto immune disease which damages the tissue of the small intestine.)

Candida in serious cases can poison the bodily system.

So if you are experience fatigue, weakness, muscle and joint aches, headaches, feeling of having a hangover, gastrointestinal disturbances and as a result even weight gain, depression, anxiety, irritability, mood swings, poor memory, lack of concentration, recurrent vaginitis, allergies, skin irritation, rashes, infections or hypoglycemia you may be suffering from Candida.

Some treatments that work are the Candida Diet for at least 2 weeks: you literally starve off the Candida by not eating anything the yeast will eat… this is is long list that includes, breads, sugars (includes any kind of sweetening agent including honey), no fruits or crystallized fruits, alcohol, coffee – instead, just be on a huge binge of vegetables for two weeks and you’ll be all right.

The next thing you can do is to apply a homeopathic remedy called yeastrol. It combines 12 ingredients to fight not just the itching “but multiple symptoms of yeast infection” from the inside out.

For external treatment of genital areas in particular, you may apply a paste of turmeric powder. Or you could try an Ayurvedic turmeric cream. Works like magic.

It is easy to treat Candida but you need patience and perseverance and time.…

Understand Your Baby

Understand Your Baby

Many parents would like an answer to solve the following baby problems:

I have a little five months boy. As every baby, he cries. Sometimes I am disarmed and wondering why he is always crying so much. I have difficulties to figure out what baby really wants. Why is he crying so much all the time? Are there ways to identify the reasons which lead him to cry so? To express their wants your baby’s have a whole repertoire of sounds from the whimper to the real cry of rage, their crying sounds are modulated and varied. Even if every child is unique and possesses specific intonations, there are some types of cries which seems common to all small babies.

The cry of hunger.

The cries of hunger can be recolonize by a shrill sound, followed by an inspiration. Then the crying starts all over again only louder… The cry is brief, rhythmic, vigorous and increased in intensity as your baby is getting more and more impatient. The cries of hunger are also the most frequents. If the crying is not due to hunger the baby will turn his head and close his mouth.

Fatigue: Another reason for crying.

The fatigue cries are more frequent at the end of the day and when the night begins by whining for no apparent reason and ends with screams and body movements (the baby wiggles, as if unable to find any appeasing positions). If the cries of fatigue can occur at any hour of the day, they are more frequent at the end of the day and when the night comes. Your son may may be crying to express that he needs you, your affection and your comforting presence. His crying time is separated by periods of silence. Your child may be bored or lonesome and needs your soothing contact… and it is not a caprice. As soon as the child feels the parent is approaching, he quiets down (giving the impression of a form of manipulation, but evidently this is not the case). The child has a real need to be reassured and wants to feel secure. It is our role to fill all his needs.. Your baby needs company or contacts with his parents.

Finally, there are the cries of anger.

He wants you to know that he is angry, his cries are particularly acutes, difficult to sustain in terms of the acoustic which express his intense frustrations. He his hungry and you are not offering him a bottle fast enough! He wants to move and he his mobilized for long minutes on the changing table! In general, your baby will get angry every times his needs are not satisfied or understood ed. Our challenge as parents are: Stay calm and respond to its requests.…

#1 – Sleep Between 10pm & 2am: These are the critical hours of repair that your body needs to experience in order to feel fully rejuvenated for the next day. If you’re constantly going to bed late or getting 7 hours of sleep or less consistently then you’re working through a sleep debt which only builds up and will at some point make you chronically fatigued.

#2 – Don’t Overeat: Overeating is a very common cause of fatigue & chronic yawning. Essentially it depletes your energy levels to allow your body to focus entirely on digestion. So if you stuff your face just be ready to take a nap for an hour laying back in a chair because anything else is going to put your adrenals into overtime.

#3 – Candida Cleanse: Candida is a yeast which lives inside all of us & depending on a persons health it can wreak havoc on their body if not kept in check. 6 Ways to Beat Brain Fog Caused by Adrenal Fatigue

6 Ways to Beat Brain Fog Caused by Adrenal Fatigue

Low stamina, poor digestion, slow to recover from injury or illness, non-refreshing sleep, and extreme sensitivity to cold are just some of the symptoms that people with adrenal fatigue experience. When we often find ourselves under stress, our adrenal glands stop working properly and don’t produce enough of the necessary hormones needed to constantly release a healthy dose of energy – resulting in us feeling tired and exhausted. If you are mentally in a constant fog, constantly feel tired, or have a tough time focusing, you could be suffering from what is generally referred to as adrenal fatigue. Here are six ways to help decrease brain fog caused by the disorder:

Take in ‘well-spaced’ meals. If you tend to skip meals, then you ought to know that you are doing more harm than good for your body. This is especially true when talking about breakfast; not taking it is a surefire way to gain – not lose – weight. For most people with adrenal fatigue, they should eat closer to 5-6 meals a day as opposed to the traditional 3.

When you’re hungry, your blood sugar drops, making you feel light-headed and tired. You would also notice that this is when you have short attention span and inability to focus on what you’re doing. Have a good breakfast and follow it up with well-spaced meals. This will help sustain your energy throughout the day.

Stock up on protein. Hand in hand with the frequency of your meals is the kind of food that you actually take in. Make sure to eat those that are rich in protein; they will help boost your energy and keep you focused. On the other hand, it’s a good idea for you to do away with junk foods and those that have a lot of sugar.

No to caffeine. You should keep in mind that coffee doesn’t make you energized; it just gives you an illusion of boosting your energy. In reality, caffeine actually deprives you of B vitamins – decreasing your energy and making you feel even more tired. More caffeine doesn’t not help with brain fog or adrenal fatigue, it makes it worse.

Do relaxing exercises. Instead of rigorous exercises like aerobics, opt for those that will stimulate the body but will also be relaxing. You can try yoga, deep breathing, meditation, or even something as simple as walking and stretching regularly.

Avoid alcohol and tobacco. Even if you don’t have adrenal fatigue, you should smoke and drink in moderation – but even more so if you are experiencing this disorder. Alcohol and tobacco make your glands function even badly, so don’t make your body grow weaker by drinking and smoking.

Reduce stress. We all experience stress every day, but try to reduce it by learning to relax. Try going for short walks or taking breathers every few hours.…
